This isn't one to try at home (you could well fall foul of wildlife protection laws, apart from anything else), but the easiest way to cook wild birds (or hedgehogs for that matter) is not to pluck them but to smear wet clay onto the feathers. The birds are then cooked on an open fire and the feathers and skin come away when they are cooked. The same thing happens with the spines of hedgehogs, which were traditionally clay-baked by the Romany people. The meat is said to taste like pork – hence the hedgehog's name.
        Hey Ryan!
Thanks for the lesson in HedgeHog Cuisine!
But the only hedgehog i was able to find was the one from my old Sega Genisis system...Note: Plastic tastes horrible, so Bella..You better keep Claude safe!

i think it is a pretty sad state of affairs when all u ppl can do is think about eating my hedgehog. i mean really. do u think he is high minerals or something? well he is not. and wanting to know about red or white wine--oh the insult of it all!! now if u want some good eating, that pig looks pretty good. give me a fork and a bib and i am ready to go.
Power to the HedgeHog Right on!!
